DMCA Policy
Effective Date: 01. December 2024
This Digital Millennium Copyright Act policy ("Policy") applies to the Fatherpreneurs.com website ("Website" or "Service") and any related products and services (collectively, "Services"). It outlines how Fatherpreneurs.com ("Fatherpreneurs.com", "we", "us", or "our") addresses copyright infringement notifications and how you ("you" or "your") may submit a copyright infringement complaint.
Commitment to Intellectual Property Protection
We value intellectual property rights and expect our users and their authorized agents to do the same. It is our policy to expeditiously respond to clear notifications of alleged copyright infringement that comply with the United States Digital Millennium Copyright Act ("DMCA") of 1998. You can review the DMCA at the U.S. Copyright Office website.
Before Submitting a Copyright Complaint
Before filing a copyright complaint, consider whether the use of the material in question qualifies as fair use. Under fair use principles, excerpts of copyrighted material may be used for purposes such as criticism, news reporting, teaching, or research without permission from or payment to the copyright holder.
If you determine that the use is not fair and wish to proceed with a copyright complaint, you may first attempt to resolve the issue directly with the individual responsible for the material.
Important Note: Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), you may be held liable for damages, including costs and attorneys’ fees, if you knowingly misrepresent that material or activity infringes copyright. If you are unsure whether the material in question is infringing, consult an attorney before filing a Notification with us.
We may share your Notification, or portions of it, with the account holder whose material is allegedly infringing or with other third parties as necessary. If you are concerned about your information being shared, consider engaging an agent to submit the complaint on your behalf.
Submitting a Notification of Infringement
If you are a copyright owner or an agent thereof and believe that material available on our Services infringes your copyrights, you may submit a written copyright infringement notification ("Notification") by providing the following information:
- Identification of the copyrighted work: A clear description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed. If multiple copyrighted works are covered by your Notification, you may provide a representative list.
- Identification of infringing material: Information sufficient to identify the allegedly infringing material, including the URL(s) or specific location(s) on our Website.
- Your contact information: A valid email address, telephone number, and physical address where we can reach you.
- Good faith statement: A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, their agent, or the law.
- Accuracy statement and signature: A statement that the information in your Notification is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the allegedly infringed material. Include your physical or electronic signature (typing your full name is sufficient).

Review Process
Upon receiving a valid Notification, we will:
- Review the submission for completeness and accuracy.
- Take appropriate action, which may include removing or restricting access to the allegedly infringing material.
- Notify the affected user, providing a copy of your Notification, including your contact information.
We reserve the right to take no action if your Notification does not meet all DMCA requirements. Filing a Notification begins a pre-defined legal process under the DMCA.
Counter-Notification
If you believe material was removed or restricted in error, you may submit a counter-notification. The counter-notification must include:
- Identification of the material and its location before removal.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed or restricted in error.
- Your contact information (name, address, and telephone number).
- A statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your district.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
